Summary
In 22/10/2023 we were able to see a transif of IO in front of Jupiter at arround 3h in the morning in France.
I was in Vercors with my astronomy club and we had the chance to capture part of it.
Settings
- Telescope: Celestron C8 XLT
- Camera : ZWO ASI2600MC Pro
- Shots : 5000 (2 first), 10000 (2 last)
- Exposure : 15ms.
- Gain: 300
- Température caméra : -10°C
- Traitement : AstroSurface
Remark
This was my second planetary shot with this camera so for sure I could have used better parameters.

IO see-able
If you look closely left to the shadow it looks we can see directly IO itself as a round slightly lighter than the background planet.
It is at a position matching what shows the simulation with Stellarium:
